Dog Car Booster Seat Which Is More Dangerous For A Dog: Sitting In The Passenger Side Of A Car By Himself Or...?

Which is more dangerous for a dog: sitting in the passenger side of a car by himself or...? - dog car booster seat

or on the lap of the driver?
I have a long-haired Chihuahua (Tho that's great - the size of a small dog), and car rides in loooooove. But when you're sitting in the passenger seat, you can not see through the window and flies away when the brakes. And when he sits on my lap while I drive, it just feels good and looks out the window. But what is the safest?
i kno that there are things that the available space for the dogs, but not like them.
Suggestions?

Dogs in the lap of the driver-side airbag in an accident. And yes, it can be distracting and cause accidents. A police officer sees a dog on his knee could be a fine for "dangerous driving".
Dogs are safest in a plane as a sturdy plastic Vari-Kennel. If you prevent an accident, many violations of the dog. It also prevents the dog from being crushed by moving objects around in the car. (My friend had a lab, which killed by a load of wood in his truck when he was away and stop.) Facilitating the rescuers to save him, and not to lose in the end on the road.

The second best is a harness for the padded belt.

I have a Chihuahua and 11.5 pounds, but since I was a baby, who on the back seat, I tried to turn, but I pushed him, I have a belt, but he's in the back, my other dog the back seat is also my father, let him sit on his lap, and I was scared.

The safest thing for your pet is a safety accessory for him or her to buy. In fact, a harness that goes over the animal, then the belt clip in the passenger seat. The airbags could kill your pet if she is small in her lap, and you have an accident ... A seat is not safe at all, but they fly away when the brakes. But now there are bands that are comfortable for the animal and very strong. Pets are not so interested to see out the window, because they only have to be.

Dogs should never travel without packing the car for the same reason, children need the safety seats. My chihuahua always travels in the box. You can not see through the window, but curls up and sleeps and it is important to be careful for visits. If you are in an accident, the disc could easily kill a Chihuahua, or the dog is not out of the car and run, or if the brakes, which could fall off the chair to go through the windshield, wrong too much. Get a box or a booster seat with a corset to protect.

The reason for that is on the lap of the driver, because in an emergency as dangerous, the dog is in the way of complete control of the wheel. This could be you lose your dog's life and hers.
Your dog is safer in the backseat with some limitations.

My former victim of the animal, the veterinarian has a wreck, where the dog was on the knee of the driver and could be seen crushed by the weight of the driver. This is not just security. I think if you go for a walk doggie want to be in a car seat, as it is or not. You know, you can get a car to use for your dog? PetSmart was the last time I looked, and some pet stores they should have ... Good luck. Nana

I think both are equally dangerous. It can get worse if the dog is crawling around the driver, while she tries to (pass deflection) to. But I think the dogs feel safer sitting on your lap while driving, so that not all bugs (I know, my dog does). Every time you go a long way with my dog, I try to put it in a pile of blankets, so you can see through the window from the passenger's seat, and not distract me while I drive. In addition, the more you pile blankets a nest, so they do not flop when you use or the brakes.

If you do not have booster seats, which is probably the better way to stay sober and be able to look outwards. If you are willing to sacrifice their power to look through the window, then the seat belt dog should be sufficient. Never use a seat belt only with a collar. Use one with a belt if it is part of the start or sold separately. Finally, you can box, but not funny, but probably the safest option.

In fact, he was from behind by a woman with a poodle on her lap horse beat !!!!! The insurance company paid me, and sued and got money for things in the trunk because he was too distracted. " He was also a fine !!!!!!!!
I hope not to fight with the dog on his lap!

God! If your airbags deployed, the dog died, crushed by !!!!!!! Not a good idea!

I think it's safer to be on the passenger side .... Pop it on a pillow, if you do not see through the window

Let the dog sit on his lap, and worried worried about their safety?

The sacrifice of the animal in a cage and watch for traffic and pedestrians. "Oh, interspersed 5 children from the bus, but Fifi was just a scratch. We are so happy."
